Juhannus (Midsummer) weekend with Paola´s Wellness in Koli at Villa Oras

Date: Friday 23.6. - Sunday 25.6, 2023

I would like to invite you to join me and experience the Juhannnus holiday in Koli. You will experience different elements of well-being surrounded by Finnish nature. At the same time, you’ll have an opportunity to experience the Finnish holiday traditions in a beautiful wooden building - Villa Oras. 

Koli is a Finnish touristic destination in Eastern Finland, 6 hours away from Helsinki by public transportation. Koli offers one of the most beloved national landscapes.

The weekend is designed to recharge you and includes the following.

  • Yoga

  • Pilates

  • Meditation

  • Exploring Koli national park

  • Sauna

  • Healthy food

  • DIY with essential oils, etc.

We will do gentle exercises which connect you to the present moment (No previous experience with Pilates or yoga is required). 

The program also includes meals, mostly vegetarian-fish food. Please let us know if there´s any food allergy or special diet to be considered.

 Villa Oras is a wooden building from the 1940s located 400m from Koli National Park. It is a peaceful place where you can forget about the time. Villa Oras is still in its original condition. It means that ;  

  • There´s no running water in the building and sauna, water is carried from the well.

  • It has a traditional sauna where you can wash. Please use biodegradable products.

  • The toilets are outside and there is no running water.

 The weekend program suits everyone. Participation in each program is voluntary.

 Please bring your own yoga mat and weather-appropriate clothes and shoes for outdoor activities.

Shared room: €360/person

Private room: €400/person

 The prices include all the physical activities, accommodation, meals, DIY with essential oils, and sauna sessions. 

 

There are limited places. Reserve your spot by paying 160€ on the website,  www.paolaswellness.com. The difference is to be paid at Villa Oras.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Please note that this Midsummer Retreat is limited to a small number of attendees, to allow for a more personable, intimate experience, our cancellation policy is in place to help guests and us alike work together in sharing expenses that may arise from unexpected cancellations.

  1. HOLD DEPOSITS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE 2 WEEKS PRIOR.

  2. Hold deposits are transferable to another new attendee found and assigned by the original attendee.

  3. Full balance due 8 weeks before the start date of retreat unless otherwise noted.

  4. Cancellation requests submitted within 30 days of the retreat date, 50% of the total amount (less deposit) will be refunded.

  5. Within 14 days of your retreat: sorry but no refunds are given.

  6. Any refunds allowed will incur a 3% processing fee.

No one books a retreat with the intention of canceling it, but unexpected events do occur, so please consider purchasing travel insurance. In case of sickness, 50% of your deposit will be refunded with a sick leave document.

 You will receive the program after registration. You are welcome to arrive at Villa Oras at 16:00 on Friday and the latest check-out time is 15:00 on Sunday, but luggage could be stored for a longer time.

 How to get to Koli?

By plane, train, bus, and car. How to get to Koli?

The easiest way is by car. You can also take a train to Joensuu, and continue by bus or taxi to Kolli Village or Kolin portti.
